DATEX II packages addressed by the RRP The types of data on infrastructure

Location of compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas stations

The reference profile defines the minimum required information to disseminate the geographic location of gas refuelling stations for compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Each station must include at least one refuelling point, capable of serving one vehicle at a time. The minimum dataset must include:

  • The precise location of the infrastructure (including refuelling points)
  • Contact details
  • Opening hours
  • Accepted payment methods
  • Permitted vehicle characteristics (e.g. size, weight)
  • The specific type(s) of gas provided

For large service areas or those with strict driving direction rules (e.g. motorway stations), entry and exit locations may be specified separately to ensure accurate routing and access information.

DATEX II provides EnergyInfrastructureTablePublication for locations of compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas stations. More information about the EnergyInfrastructureTablePublication will be provided soon.
